Last wedding of the year for the wedding choir today! Love the mint color of the bridesmaids’ multiway wear dress.

Really touching poem. I hope I will be able to live by it when I become a parent next time!
I need to change my tumblr theme soon. The cutting off of my posted photos annoys me >:(

After yesterday’s night at brotzeit, it felt too much like a friday. I thought today was Saturday and woke up late for school. No more late night dinners outside for me from today onwards till end of exams!
Sang in the wedding choir for a 50th (!) Wedding Anniversary mass on Saturday. I’m glad for the opportunity to be part of such an event!

My extra baby tooth dropped out today! Hahah yes I still have baby tooth at this age. It’s my last one. Hope the gap will close soon! Am really not used to the gap.
Two wedding mass in a row today! Thank goodness the choir didn’t have to sing for the 9am mass too. Three masses, one after another, will be tooooo taxing!

I just love the shows on Channel NewsAsia. Have just caught Asia Exposed which is about a sports photographer who went on a trip to the Philippines to capture photos of the disabled who struggle to live their daily lives. The difficulties the disabled in the Philippines faced are somewhat different from what the disabled in Singapore would face. And it’s inspiring to see how they live their...

So it’s down to the last 4 days in HP, the last 4 days of work. Ironically, I’ve started to like working there (some parts of the experience anyway)

Working at HP has its share of WTF moments.
The work is seriously WTF. Tedious and boring. My desktop comp blacked out from a power trip which resulted in me moving the whole comp (CPU, keyboard, mouse, desktop) myself from one end of the room to another where the power supply was not affected with no guys gentlemanly enough to help. Not to mention I had to move the whole comp back to the...

I think it’s nice to walk along brightly lit streets at night with the lingering fresh smell after a rain, with buildings adorned with neon lights and big advertisement screens around, where there ain’t many people, with a few cars driving pass every now and then which makes the water from the rain goes swish for music.
I thought I was changing to mainstream music after looking at the genre of the new songs I loaded into my itouch (It’s Britpop) but I was wrong, turns out that the songs are actually indie, alternative rock. Anyway, if you’re into indie music, you should try listening to Half Light and Superhuman Touch, both songs by Athlete.

Surprisingly, it’s my grandma who understands what I am going through now.
Caught Old Places on Okto on Saturday. It’s a really beautiful film. The angles, colours depicted with personal reccounts of Singaporeans as they recollect their memories of disappearing places in Singapore was just ingenious. I love the poignant nostalgic beauty brought out by the film. The film makes me regret not being more creative in considering something for conservation for Project...
Disappointed with this year’s Baybeats line up :( There’s no Anberlin! :((( Anberlin was really great last year. I went for the acoustic set and the atmosphere was just breathtaking with purple pink lights shining on the band as they played against the backdrop of the sunset till the nightsky lited with lights from the various highrises at the outdoor theatre. I was totally engrossed...
There are many trees around Bukit Batok. Just the other day when I was giving directions to my aunt who was drving to my house with her GPS battery almost exhausted, I asked her what does she see around her. Any HDB flats, schools, mrt. Her reply in a very lost tone was: “Err I see a forest.”

For me, writing is a good way for me to express my emotions and perhaps prevent me from going crazy after tolerating unreasonable individuals.
Civics today required us to be aware of our feelings and do something about it. Sometimes it’s better to be blissfully unaware of your emotions than to be aware of it and know that you can’t do anything about it.
